Alan Ruck returns to network television after a six-year run on “Spin City” where he portrayed the mayor’s chief-of-staff, Stuart Bondek, a role created for him by “Scrubs” Executive Producer Bill Lawrence. Prior to “Spin City,” Ruck was best known for his role as Cameron in the movie “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” although he added numerous credits to his name in the interim. Ruck’s additional television credits include roles in the television movies “From the Earth to the Moon,” which was executive produced by Tom Hanks and “Shooter” and starring roles on the series “Going Place” and “Muscle.” He has also appeared in several feature films including “Twister,” “Three for the Road,” “Bloodhounds of Broadway,” “Three Fugitives,” “Young Guns II,” and “Speed.”
