A New York native, Donald Faison began his acting career at age five while a student at the Children's School for the Development of Intuitive and God-Conscious Art. While still in school, Faison's enthusiasm for acting led him to study the art at the Professional Children's School in New York.
Faison's early love of acting led him to success in both film and television. In 1995 he landed a role opposite Angela Bassett in the feature film "Waiting to Exhale." Following this performance, he played Murray in Amy Heckerling's popular feature, "Clueless," which starred Alicia Silverstone. In September, 2000, Faison starred with Denzel Washington in the box-office hit "Remember the Titans." He made a cameo appearance in the teen film "Josie and the Pussycats," and also acted in the independent feature "Double Whammy" (co-starring Elizabeth Hurley), which premiered at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival. Most recently Faison starred in Universal's "Big Fat Liar," and will star in the summer 2003 release "Molly Gunn," with Brittany Murphy. His additional film credits include "Trippin'," "Can't Hardly Wait," "New Jersey Drive," "Prep" and "Juice."
