Dr. Cox and Julie Keaton (Heather Locklear) finally give in to temptation and sleep together. The result of their coupling puts Dr. Cox in an unusually cheerful mood. His joy is slightly diminished when he realizes that she has slept with almost every other doctor in the hospital. Later, while the two of them are watching a movie at his apartment, he apologizes to Julie for being a little jealous about her other relationships. Suddenly, just as they are about to kiss, Jordan and her very pregnant belly enter the apartment.
Sparks fly as the two women try to outmaneuver each other. While Julie retreats to the bedroom, Jordan tells Perry that the father is a busboy, poolboy or something "boy" that she met while vacationing in Greece. She also tells him that she is keeping the baby and that she wants Perry back as well. At the hospital, Julie and Jordan try to "out-sexy" each other in front of Dr. Cox, with Julie being much sexier than the very pregnant Jordan. Jordan ends up getting sick, so she and Dr. Cox have a heart-to-heart on the bathroom floor. He tells her definitively that he's not interested in her anymore. But after meeting with Julie and explaining to her the bond that he and Jordan have, he decides that he really does love Jordan In desperate need of extra cash and tired of stealing toilet paper and pudding/fruit cups from the hospital, Turk has been moonlighting at the free clinic. He recruits J.D. to work there as well, but tells him that the fee is $100 less than it actually is. J.D. later finds out that Turk shortchanged him so he tries to get revenge. But when Carla tells him that Turk is working overtime so they can get enough money to put her mom in a nursing home, J.D. realizes that Turk wasn't just being greedy, his relationship with Carla has turned more serious. He gives Turk the $100. Elliot is recruited by the female doctors in OB/GYN to join their specialty. The last thing that she wants to do is look at women's "bajingo's" all day, but her father strongly suggests that this is the specialty for her when he pays a visit to the hospital. It doesn't help that Dr. Kelso made a bet that she would go for OB/GYN. He almost wins the $10, but Carla steps in to say that Elliot hasn't officially declared her specialty yet, so technically he didn't win. She meets with her father to tell her that she isn't ready to declare a specialty yet. He responds by cutting her off financially. Since she can no longer afford her apartment, she has to move out. |
